I'm baaaack...

Wow, it's been a while since I posted and it was good of GG to get this going again. I can concur with GG that this summer has not been the most productive spiritually (or at least it seems). Actually, this summer has been one of testing and on some days, spiritual fatigue. It's kind of like my mind went numb with all of the things going through my brain. Sometimes I felt like a failure; other times I felt confused or frustrated because of my lack of control. I realize that all of us will go through these things at one time or another for there are seasons to spiritual growth.

I'm still searching for a church home, haven't really found churches I'm completely comfortable in. It's weird how we are all in a transition (even some of my family is). The good thing is I do have some family here that I was able to connect with.

I've been seeking God about what is really important to Him. What about you guys? As I approach age 25 (gosh, I'll be 30 in five years!) I think about what my thought patterns and expectations were when I was 18 and what they are now (and what they will be later). There is somewhat of a disconnect there.
